ABOUT THIS BALLOT
From March 21 to April 8, 2022, Ujima members voted on our investment ballot for the forthcoming Jazz Urbane Cafe. We successfully reached quorum on the 2022 Jazz Urbane Cafe Investment Ballot, on Thursday April 7, 2022. Together, members overwhelmingly approved a $200,000 loan, over 6 years. Overall, 55% of the electorate participated in this vote.
In February 2022, after being named as a start-up loved by members, Jazz Urbane joined Ujima’s Good Business Alliance, a network of community-based businesses that are eligible for investment from the Ujima Fund and other supportive programs.
