ABOUT THIS BALLOT
From January 27 to February 10, 2026, Ujima members voted on our follow-on investment ballot in Comfort Kitchen, and its two new businesses: Ama at the Atlas and Foxglove Terrace. We successfully reached quorum on the investment ballot on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Members overwhelmingly approved a $353,000 loan over 3 years. Overall, 67.89% of the electorate participated in this vote.

In 2023, after being named as a business loved by members, Comfort Kitchen joined Ujima’s Good Business Alliance, a network of community-based businesses that are eligible for investment from the Ujima Fund and other supportive programs.
