The Personalized Investment Form is an opportunity for Voting Members to name BIPOC businesses they love in their neighborhoods and across Boston. Each year, members are invited for fill out a form and name up to five businesses they love in their community. This investment list was generated throughout 2021 by Ujima members.
How to Vote:
Step 1: Below, we have made available three versions of the 2021 Personalized Investment List Ballot. Choose only ONE. A. Organized by Neighborhood (Online Ballot)
This version of the ballot walks you through the business review process neighborhood by neighborhood. For each neighborhood you are asked to answer up to four questions. There are a total number of 55 questions on the ballot. We estimate the ballot should take you up to 30 minutes to complete.
B. Organized by Sector (Online Ballot)
This version of the ballot walks you through the business review process by industry (e.g. hospitals or restaurants). For each sector, you are asked to answer up to four questions. There are a total number of 67 questions on the ballot. We estimate the ballot should take you up to 30 minutes to complete.
C. Holistic (Online Ballot)
This version of the ballot asks you up to answer four questions about the Citywide list as a whole. There are a total number of 15 questions on the ballot. We estimate that this ballot should take you up to 30 minutes to complete
Step 2: Voter Phone a Friend
After you complete your ballot, visit the Voter Phone a Friend List. Pick one person you know to remind and/or encourage them to vote. We've provided a short script on the list to help with your call, text, or email to a friend.
